Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte fuel cell which reduces danger in supplying hydrogen. SOLUTION: The danger in supplying pure hydrogen is reduced by supplying H 2 with a content of 30-70 mol% CO 2 to an anode of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell by passing a hydrogen selective permeable membrane if necessary. CO 2 rich exhaust gas of the anode or the hydrogen selective permeable membrane is effectively utilized for storage of fresh food, promotion of plant growth, an artificial carbonate spring to help energy saving and prevention of global warming. 【課題】水素供給の際の危険性を減じた固体高分子型燃料電池の提供。 【解決手段】CO 2 の含有率を30−70mol%としたH 2 を、必要により水素選択透過性膜を通して、固体高分子型燃料電池のアノードに供給することで、純水素を供給する際の危険性を減じる。また、CO 2 リッチなアノードまたは水素選択透過性膜の排ガスを、生鮮食料品の保存、植物育成の促進、人工炭酸泉に有効利用し、省エネルギーや地球温暖化防止に役立たせる。 【選択図】図1
